Welcome to the YOBOgear Affiliate Program for the Turtlebug Camper Hammock Stand. We're grateful for your interest in sharing a product we believe deeply in. This page outlines the terms, expectations, and mutual responsibilities involved in our affiliate relationship. Please read through carefully. By signing up, you agree to the terms outlined below.
🔹 1. Eligibility & Enrollment
- This affiliate program is by invitation only. We prioritize working with businesses, creators, and professionals who align with our brand.
- By joining, you agree that you are operating as an independent business or individual and not an employee or representative of YOBOgear.
🔹 2. What You’ll Receive
- A flat dollar amount commission for every Turtlebug Camper Hammock Stand purchased using your affiliate link and/or unique discount code.
- A personalized affiliate link and an optional discount code to share with your customers.
🔹 3. Payments & Returns
- Commissions are tracked automatically via your affiliate link.
- If a customer returns their Turtlebug Camper Stand, the commission will be reversed or withheld accordingly.

Commissions are paid monthly, with a 30-day hold period after each sale to account for returns or cancellations. For example, commissions earned on sales made in June will be paid at the end of July, once the return window has passed. This means the first payout for the program starting June 1 will be processed around July 31. Payments for July sales will then be made at the end of August, and so on.
🔹 4. Promotion Guidelines
You’re welcome to promote your affiliate link in whatever way fits your style and audience — as casually or intentionally as you like. This includes:
- Linking on your website
- Mentioning it in blog posts or newsletters
- Including it in social media posts or YouTube videos
- Promoting on your podcast
- Paid advertising (with limitations — see below)
We just ask that your promotion:
- Is truthful and not misleading
- Represents our product with respect and accuracy
- Reflects the actual benefits and limitations of the stand
🔹 5. Prohibited Actions
To protect our brand and yours, please do not:
- Misrepresent the product or make exaggerated claims
- Share affiliate links in spammy or deceptive ways (e.g. fake coupon sites, comment spam)
- Run paid ads using YOBOgear’s name, brand terms, video/photo assets, or trademarks without prior written approval
- Imply partnership or endorsement beyond this affiliate relationship
- Post your discount code to public forums you do not own -- Affiliate discount codes may not be shared in public groups/sites (examples: Hammock Camping facebook group that you do not own; Reddit threads) Posting to your own podcast, social media page, YouTube Channel, website, etc. is perfectly fine and encouraged.
Our goal is to reward partners who genuinely promote our gear through authentic relationships — like personal recommendations, social media, events, or your website.
If you’re unsure whether a promotional method is allowed, just reach out — we’re happy to clarify.
🔹 6. Taxes & Reporting
- You are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes on income you earn from commissions.
- If you exceed $600 in commissions in a calendar year, we are required to collect a W-9 and issue a 1099 for tax reporting purposes.
We will reach out for your W-9 in advance to speed things up.
🔹 7. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or pause your affiliate account at any time if these terms are violated, or if it becomes necessary for business reasons. You may also choose to discontinue your participation at any time — just send us a quick message.
